Maria’s heart and labor have been in the nonprofit sector for decades. She is a well-known, accomplished development leader with over 20 years of success in both the corporate and philanthropic communities. Her experience and leadership include work with large national organizations such as the Boy Scouts of America and the American Heart Association.

Through her own consulting company, Fundraising Management, Inc., Maria has helped build and restructure local community foundations from their formation, marketing, and strategic plans to conducting the most successful fundraising campaigns, raising millions of dollars for important causes and missions.

In her consulting role with Compassion Behavioral Health, Maria witnessed the community’s mental and behavioral health needs firsthand. During this period, and through her personal journey, she became motivated and passionate about forming The Compassion Health Foundation. This foundation focuses on empowering individuals to improve their mental and physical well-being. Maria is personally committed to helping those in need in this sector, always serving as a resource and support.

Through specialized organizations and therapy programs, she strives to enhance mental health awareness and education within the community. Maria is dedicated to connecting those who can help with those in need, and she remains committed to serving vulnerable populations with compassion and care.
